Navigating Real Images and Illustrations of Animals On The Creature Courage Website
Here at Creatuer Courage, we understand that people with animal phobias don’t want to see real images or videos of spiders and other animals that scare them. This is why the site is mostly free of pictures and videos of real animals. However, though not many, there are a few places where real images and videos are used. We care about your experience and want you to feel confident to explore the site fear-free. This guide is here to help you to understand where these places are if you wish to avoid them.
Rest Assured: No Images On The Main Information Pages
To find out more about who we are, what we do, the therapy services we offer, prices, etc., you can search with confidence. There are no animal images in our Therapy section or About section.
Real Images of Animals:
The only places we have real pictures of animals are on our professional workshop pages:
-Teambuilding Workshops
-Professional Development Workshops
-Eperiential Workshops
-Student Anxiety and Resilience Workshops
The reason for having real images of animals on these pages is that we are advertising the animal encounter component aspect of these services. If you are a private client looking for 1:1 phobia services, you will have no need to look at these pages; the other pages do not have real pictures of spiders or other animals.
Video Of Real Spiders:

There is only one video on the site that has real pictures of spiders, and that is our Good Morning America Appearance. There is a warning above wherever this video appears on our site, and there are no spiders on the thumbnails, so you can’t see spiders unless you click on the video and actively watch it. None of the other videos, including testimonials, has spiders in them.
Other Animal Videos:
There are only two other videos that show real animals, and that is our cat phobia testimonial video and our adult dog testimonial video. These feature on our testimonial page and on the animal phobia profiles for dogs and cats. There are no images of real dogs or cats in the thumbnails.
Illustrations Of Animals:
We have some illustrations of animals on our blog and on our animal phobia profile pages. The purpose is to illustrate the content to help make it visually more interesting, and additionally help readers slowly expose themselves to the animals they fear. Our blogs and animal profiles are aimed at informing and educating to help people build fascination and confidence around their trigger animals.
The illustrations are limited, and we chose illustrations that look cute or beautiful to ensure our website is as non-threatening as possible.
We Care About Your Experience On The Site!
We hope you enjoy the contents we’ve worked hard to curate, and we welcome any feedback. Thank you.
