It can be frustrating when others don’t understand that you simply cant just ‘get over it’. Having a phobia is a deeper issue that extends beyond what you can merely rationalise. However, hope is very possible!
Creature Courage has dedicated our efforts to uniquely specialise in animal phobia treatment. We are here to support you to achieve the liberating change that you may have not thought possible. What’s more, most of our clients can achieve dramatic change in just a single day! There is no need for weeks or months of expensive therapy.
Genuinely passionate about making a positive difference, we go the extra mile to help our clients achieve dramatic results. By the end of just one day, our clients are happy and calm around the animal they feared. Additionally, the have also built a new appreciation for the animal. Your therapy will be approached in a kind, compassionate and sensitive way.

How We Do Our Therapy:
What: Creature Courage is professional and effective face to face animal phobia treatment.
How do we do it: We uniquely use a variety of proven phobia techniques in a fun and interesting way on a one day workshop. Expert psychologists have developed our therapy based on neuro-science. We mainly run one-on-one therapy but can do small groups on request.
Most importantly, we provide exposure therapy. We understand the science of change: you must actually face your fear to change your fear. Hypnotherapy alone will NOT CURE A PHOBIA. You can read more about the science of this here. So we provide our clients with gentle exposure of any trigger animal needed.
We also uniquely combine a variety of other techniques to achieve our high success rate. Holistically treating your animal phobia, we assure you learn how to better manage all anxiety triggers. This means the techniques and awareness you learn will help you far beyond just the animal phobia. Some of the other techniques we use are:
- Education to build compassion and fascination
- Art therapy
- CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy)
- Imagination exercises
- Education around anxiety neuroscience
- NLP techniques (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
- Hypnotherapy
Where and Where
Location: Creature Courage is currently Located in South West London for private therapy sessions. The nearest public transport is Cheam Rail Station.
When: Most of our therapy sessions are now booked on week days subject to availability. Weekend sessions are occasionally given to children. Simply give us a call on 0800 970 4417 and we will find a date that works for both of us. Usually the sessions run from 9:30am to 6pm.
